About me:
I’m what you might call a service brat. My dad was in the Air Force when I was a kid. As to be expected, we moved around a lot. Well, to me it was a lot. It was more than some family and less than others. At 18, I joined the army—I grew up there. Since that time I have itchy feet, always moving. At last count, I have lived in or been thru 40 states and 30 countries, mainly in Asia and the Middle East. In 2001, I rejoined the National Guards-I had been out for a while, so its rejoin not re enlist. I don't trust social security and I would like to eat after I retired. From March to September of 2003 I was in Iraq. Shock N Awe (going there again) While I was there I was with D Co. 1/293 INF (we was called Denton's Damned). After I came back, I went back to school to work on my bachelors in computer science. I have 5 kids (I hate the word "step", I don't walk on kids) and 1 grand daughter that is the apple of my eye and the reason I stay in. I am involved in the VFW.
