Hypocracy,
Two different worlds soon to collide,
Why do we live with so much pride.
"My Group"... "Yours".. STAY AWAY,
Hypocrisy seems the general sway.
I like my music you like yours,
Every morning we enter like doors.
"I have a dream" a wise man once said,
But we seem to forgot now that hes dead.
"We accept not reject" sounds pretty lame,
But we always point fingers of who is to blame.
Punks', Freaks', and Jocks'... SO different at heart,
But all that we want is to feel like a part.
Why judge cuz were different... there's no point at all,
We have the same classes and we walk the same halls.

"You Can Murder The Rebel, But You Can't Murder The Rebellion!"
-Anti-Flag
Brian Deneke was murdered on December 12, 1997 -- He was 19 years old.
This is a site in memory of Brian Deneke. Please check this out and actually read it. If your reading this and realize how tragic and unfair Brians story is, please spread the word and get the world to hear his story.
Brian did not die because he deserved to. Brian did not die because he asked to. Brian died because he was different. He was a nonconformist. He was an Individualist. He was a free spirit. Brian was also a thoughtful and caring young man, a good son, a good friend. His life was full of promise. His murder deprived this community of someone who had already begun to make a difference to it and no doubt would have made an even greater difference in the future. Brian Deneke is gone. His death has left a divided city, a shocked city, a hurt city in its wake. It has also left us a memory of who Brian was and what he stood for. That memory can serve either a negative purpose or a positive one.
Brians Song by The Code
Struck down you died, one December night
Taken in cold blood, under Texas twilight
The headlines all read, it was "punks vs. the jocks"
As your killer walks free, we're still left with this loss **
We must teach tolerance, and stop this senseless violence
We are at war
This war we will fight
But not with our fists
Vengeance will shed in the name of education
So sad we watch daily on the nightly news
Another act of violence, another taken too soon
From the streets, from the hands of man so hateful and unjust
We must destroy this callus mind set and build each other up

when i was in 4th grade, i had a marble notebook w/ a bunch of punk band bumper stickersz all over it. nd one day when i went to the bathroom, a bunch of kidsz in my class tore apart the notebook nd wrote shit all over it ndd being a little 9yr old, i cried to my teacher about it nd my teacher told me that i had to learn to accept that people dont like wuht i like. nd then she made me write the dictionary during recess for my punishment of not having any acceptance. ndd she nevvverrr told anyone that harrassed me all year that they had to accept that i liked different thingsz.
... nd i thought that was badd
hearing briansz story really pissed me off that the lack of acceptance in the peoplesz mindsz, was shown in a legal way. i knoe noone can change anyonesz train of thought, but i wish there was a way for ppl to be able to understand that wuht they are thinking is just a personal opinion nd not a fact.
