Singer and songwriter Briana Lynn Hardyman moved to Nashville in the fall of 2006 from rural Wisconsin. A seasoned performer with a background in folk, blues, country, and rock, Hardyman had fronted bands throughout the midwest and opened for such acts as Jeff Bates and Aaron Tippin. Her debut solo project “Only a Dream”, released in 2006, was produced by veteran folk artist/producer and award-winning songwriter Tret Fure.
In the late summer of 2007, Hardyman met guitarist and songwriter Dave Isaacs at a Nashville club. Isaacs had moved to Nashville from New York City in 2005 and was rapidly establishing a reputation as a dynamic performer and ace session musician. The two found an instant musical connection and soon began working together extensively as “Good Souls”. The onstage combination of Hardyman and Isaacs proved to be electrifying to audiences, and the duo quickly became established as a busy touring act with shows throughout the central US. Their self-titled debut CD was completed in the spring of 2008 and released to radio nationwide that summer.
