|
| Bio | An Atlanta comedian and brooding introvert who began performing comedy after dropping out of graduate school in 1994.
Uncomfortable in regular comedy venues, I gravitated towards the more adventurous comedy nights at places like Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, the Gravity Pub in East Atlanta and DT’s Downunder in Athens. Inspired by the weirder, smarter acts I sought to mix the highbrow with the low, the dark with the deadpan and intelligence with nonsense to create a kind of literate vulgarity that might attract a small, local following. I failed.
I still perform now and then--usually at the Star Bar in Little Five Points or whenever I can find a carpool to Athens--and act in short films or sketch shows when the opportunity arrives.
