Brian David & Plain Spoken Folk is a trio from the Athens-Atlanta area that draws from blues and folk roots to create a soulful, pop-singer/songwriter-ish vibe occasionally crossing into a gospel-esque country-fied funk. All those different styles and genres have allowed these three friends to keep things unique. Telling of faith, love, loss and joy, these songs, while poetic at times, can also be bare, simple and full of truth.

Hey Brian! It's been a while. We are going to try to make it out to see a show soon. We are working on songs right now for the band. Are you ever going to play Eddie's attic again? By they way...I love the hand drum sound. We are looking for one for our band. See you around! Maggie
less drums. more guitar. well, more drums would be a win also. I'd just avoid the whole jimbe thing. but that's me and I'm metal. Oooh, maybe you need some neo-classical speed of light guitar solos! that would. . . well, maybe not. take care anyway Brian.
