Although Brian does almost everything on the album himself (including field recording and sound design), he also gets aid from other musicians such as Fluorescent Grey (samples/technology), Lucas Patzek aka Kossak (samples), Kush Arora (samples), and Jesse Wilson (drum recordings).

Brian English is a 23 year old graduate of the UC Santa Cruz Electronic Music program. He lives in Santa Cruz and is the Product Specialist & Beta Coordinator for Antares Audio Technology the company which produces Auto-Tune 4, AVOX, Kantos, Filter, Microphone Modeler, Tube, and Infinity. He blends rhythmic electronic music with experimental sound design and ambience. Brian records over 75% of the sounds he uses.
At the age of 19 (2002) Brian really began to learn the electronic music ropes from Fluorescent Grey who taught him how to use Reaktor and Cubase. FG's creative approach to sound design and patch building rubbed off on Brian, whose musical growth came as a result of collaborating and contributing sounds on parts of FG's solo album "Lying On The Floor..." and an unreleased collaborative Goa Trance album.
Brian was in the November 2004 issue of Remix magazine appearing as part of Fluorescent Grey's live show at the Future Forward Festival, which included other acts such as Christian Kleine and Bonobo. Following in March (2005) Brian released the "I am Bathroom Shaman" demo CD. Now 23, after further refining this work, he is finally seeking distribution on the evolution of this work, Beyond Words.
