For early influences: Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Louis Bellson, Nicko McBrain, Dave Weckl, Donald Tardy, Pete Sandoval, Gene Hoglan, Sean Reinert, AJ Pero, Igor Cavalera, Armand Majidi, Bill Andrews, Greg Hall, Dave Lombardo, Neil Peart, and what the hell - back in the day, even Tommy Lee!
Bands that have influenced me, and shaped who I am today: Rush, Iron Maiden, Arch Rival, Michael Harris, Symphony X, Twisted Sister, Death, Obituary, Pestilence, Sacrifice, Sacred Reich, Sepultura, Testament, Vio-Lence, Exhorder, Malevolent Creation, Demolition Hammer, Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, Terrorizer, Bolt Thrower, Cynic, Atheist, Slayer, Biohazard, Cro-Mags, Sick Of It All, Metal Church, Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Morgoth, Meshuggah, Disrupt, Kreator, Sodom, Metallica (the old stuff of course), Suicidal Tendencies, D.R.I., S.O.D., M.O.D., true punk and hardcore music, and so much more
Other music I dig: Old 80's hair metal like Dokken, Ratt, Twisted Sister, Crue, Whitesnake, etc. and I really dig 80's pop music like The Outfield, Duran Duran, Howard Jones, Information Society, Level 42, etc...

BIO: Started playing drums at age 3 and got a Remo practice pad kit shortly after:
Got my first real drumkit at age 7. Been on them ever since. Mostly self taught, but took private lessons in my early teens. Dad taught me how to read music too, early on. Now I teach to roughly 20 students.
I'm also a studio musician who is available for recording sessions. So if your band needs live drums, I can come in and knock out drum tracks in less than 3 days (usually 2 days depending on the difficulty of the material). Contact me for more info/details.
