Bio
..........View Brian Hudson's EPK.. .... ........ .. .. .. .. .. I got my layout at ..Cleanupmyspace.com.. .. .... My name is Brian and I live in Austin, TX. .... I’ve been in bands for half my life. A quick list of bands past: Big Rig, Casual Jones, Boomer, The Hudsons*, and The Nasty Clan. Each has been a family to me. .... These days I’m playing under my own name and with a group called Me and B. I also just released an album called Into the Black. ........ *The Hudsons (Brian Hudson and Hudson Mueller) were an original folk band out of Austin, TX active from 2002-2009. They played with some fine musicians like the Belleville Outfit’s Phoebe Hunt, Wall Street’s Jason Vopni, and Los Angeles’s Leah Zeger. They held a steady gig for most of their time as a band at Austin’s now-defunct-but-soon-to-be-legendary Waterloo Icehouse at 6th and Lamar. .... They won two-years-in-a-row the University of Texas/Kerrville Folk Festival college songwriting award during their tenure at UT-Austin. They were featured main-stage acts at a variety of festivals around the USA and Canada including Kerrville Folk Festival, Live from the Rock, and Cornstalk. They played some prestigious folk music venues including the Cactus Cafe, Gruene Hall, the M-Room, Anderson Fair, the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe, the Mucky Duck, Threadgills, and many others. .... They released three full-length albums (which received spins from many a public radio station including Austin’s KUT, KO-OP, and KVRX, Houston’s KPFT, Bryan’s KEOS, Duluth’s KUMD, and even CBC-Ontario) as well as a variety of other innovative merchandise, such as koozies, t-shirts, and three different bumper stickers. They also produced a handful of music videos in New York and Austin with MTV’s the Sniper Twins. The mayor of Austin also gave the Hudsons a key to the city, and declared a “The Hudsons Day” back in November, 2007. ........ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. -

Thanks, Brian, some of my best friends are mutual friends. That is great. I'll look forward to listening to your music now and hope you'll get up this way soon or I'll get down the Austin.

I don't comment often but as soon as I started playing your myspace tunes I felt it. Beatle-esque--it's more than just that.
