What do I sound like? That's a good question. I'm certain that I have my own sound - and I've been told I have a very unique voice - though it's really dependant upon what I'm doing. If I'm doing studio work, I'm going to have a sound that reflects the arrangement by the songwriter/composer - in the case of the new album, Forever, I would say we've got a bit of a classic rock feel ______________________________________________________________ With my band, Wavelength, we're covering what I like to call "New Classics" which are popular tunes primarily from the 90's to 00's (Chili Peppers, Blink 182, Green Day, Panic! At The Disco, The Killers...)________________________________________________________________
I'm a thirty-something wanna-be-something singer with passion for good music. So far, I consider singing my hobby, and if it never goes further than that, that's ok. As long as I can entertain a few people along the way, I've done enough ____________________________________________________ I currently have two primary projects that I am working on: original studio work, and my band, Wavelength (it's a working title... we haven't decided yet)____________________________________________________________ STUDIO WORK: I'm affiliated with Alternative Enterprises in New London WI, where I'm currently working with songwriter John Everett on my first solo album (and the second that I've collaborated on with John). As songwriter John lays the foundation by providing our lyrics and melody, then passes this along to Pat (Alternative Enterprises), who composes and plays most, if not all, of the instrumental arrangement. Once I get hold of it, I interpret and perform (and possibly ruin) the song, and in most cases take the lead in developing our harmonies and backup vocals. Our other primary player is Bret Radichel, who performs much of the lead electric and acoustic guitar - in addition to providing creative input throughout the process. It's usually quite a team effort with John, Pat, myself, Bret, and a number of the other instrumental players all making valuable contributions to the finished product _______________________________________________________________ While I don't REALLY claim to be a songwriter, I DO "write" the majority of the backup vocals and harmonies, and I have a song or two that I've written that may or may not appear on this or future albums..._______________________________________________________
