In a career spanning more than three decades, Brian MacDonald continues to perform
up and down the East Coast, gracing the stage with the likes of James Taylor,
Paul Simon, Don McLean, The Desert Rose Band, Livingston Taylor, Johnny Winter, Rick Derringer, Jay and the Americans, NRBQ, Steppenwolf, Al Anderson, and Ben E. King .
His songs have appeared in major motion pictures, television programs and commercials
as well as the stage.
His independent album "Midnight in Nowhere", released in 2001, has recieved
rave reviews and enjoys extensive airplay throughout Europe and Australia. "Midnight Xpresso", a live solo album from a tour in 2005, again met with critical acclaim and widespread airplay all over Europe.
In 2006 he signed a publishing/recording deal with Friday Records, an L.A./Nashville
based major label headed by Grammy/Oscar producer Rick Jarrard(Michael McDonald,
Jose Feliciano, Nillson, Jefferson Airplane). A digital re-mastered, re-mixed version of "Midnight in Nowhere", featuring new songs written by Brian and songs written by Steve Earle, Warren Zevon, and Bruce Springsteen, has been completed and delivered to Friday Records, and is set for world-wide release in 2010.

My passion is in the music and here on the spaces there is so much from everywhere. There is so much to be appreciated to be able to listen to a variety of music; some signed and some unsigned. I am a music critic and taking a break for the season. I do miss the challenges of critiquing the music but I may not be back to my critic work on My Space until sometime in the Fall. I am taking the Summer off! Time to have some fun and relaxation.
