About me: SECRET INVASION Animated Webisode! ..
Brian Michael Bendis is an award winning comics creator and one of the most successful writers working in mainstream comics. For the last eight years, Brian’s books have consistently sat on the top of the nationwide comic and graphic novel sales charts.
Brian is one of the premiere architects of Marvel comic’s Ultimate line of comics. A line of comics specifically created for the new generation of comics reader. He has written every issue of ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN since it’s best selling launch in 1999, and has also written ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR, X-MEN, MARVEL TEAM UP, ORIGIN, and SIX.
Brian is currently helming a renaissance for Marvel’s AVENGERS franchise by writing both NEW AVENGERS and MIGHTY AVENGERS along with the wildly successful ‘event’ projects HOUSE OF M, SECRET WAR, and this summer’s SECRET INVASION.
He is creator of the JINX line of crime comics published by image comics. This line has spawned the graphic novels GOLDFISH, FIRE, JINX, TORSO (w/ Marc Andreyko) and TOTAL SELL OUT.
Brian’s other projects include the Eisner award winning “POWERS” (w/Mike Oeming) from Marvel’s creator owned imprint ICON, and the Hollywood tell all “FORTUNE AND GLORY’ from ONI press. Entertainment Weekly gave both projects an “A.”
Brian is currently writing a thriller for FOX/ New Regency, with Zach Penn producing, and is developing an untitled project for HBO.
Brian recently completed the screenplay for a film version of JINX for Universal Pictures and TORSO is being developed at Paramount Pictures for producer Bill Mechanic and director David Fincher.
Brian was the co-executive producer and series pilot writer for MTV’s recent CGI animated SPIDER-MAN show and a writer/ producer for Activision’s ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN video game which won the E3’s people choice award.
Brian has won five prestigious EISNER awards, including ‘Best Writer of the year’ two years in a row. He has also won over two dozen Wizard comic awards. Brian is the recipient of the Cleveland Press ‘Excellence in Journalism’ Award and was named “Best Writer of the Year.” by Wizard Magazine and Comic Buyer’s Guide for three consecutive years.
He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Alisa, his gorgeous daughter Olivia and his dogs Shroeder, Lucky and Buster.
Thanks to you Im a full time comic reader, there goes my guitar money... But regardless, Im very excited about getting SI:4 Ive been loving the main series and the Avengers tie-ins, good stuff.
I appreciate what your doing with Ultimate Spider-Man and actually prefer reading it to current continuity. I stopped reading Spider-Man right after the original clone saga and decided that it wasn't worth spending my money on any Spider-Man titles any more. After seeing you at this years Stumptown comicon I decided to give your version a chance and I was blown away. Thank you.
Thanx for the add! I'd also like to register my identity and super powers..wait..my spider-sense is tinglin'.. Buhahaha! No, seriusly, you're like David Micheline to me. With deference. Twhip*
Hey Brian. Please make the current Beast a Skrull, because I really hate his cat-like appearance. I want the old Beast back. pretty please.. (damn u Morrison)
Hey Bendis... it was great seeing you again at Wizard World this year.
I am posting the following because you get a lot of people on your page, and its helping out Joss Whedon... so its no attempt of flooding your page with spam or fake advertisements.
Cheers!

It was tons of fun to get to meet you at the con this weekend, sir (even if there was a misunderstanding as to who I was waving at). Us bald guys can bond non-the-less)!
I enjoy the work (esspecially Powers), so please keep it up. You're productivity in writing is an inspiration to all aspiring writers in comics.
