Brianna Carpenter and colour are synonymous. It’s in her clothes, her friends, on her eyelids, in her songwriting and especially in her homemade choc chip cookies with smarties (for colour of course!) Life’s too short to be sad so add a little colour and it’ll make you smile.
Her inspirations come from other colourful songwriters such as Ben Folds, Regina Spektor, Jamie Cullum (“don ‘t mind a bit of Jazz”),Imogen Heap, and Emiliana Torrini among others.
Brianna has independently funded her first full album “Harlequin” (that’s pretty colourful), completed her Bachelor of Popular music degree at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and been working and gigging her heart out for a while now. Entering whatever competitions she could along the way to get noticed “Hey! Look at me – listen to this!”
