Sounds Like
Saxophonist Brian Pinner sounds like a cross between Gato Barbieri and Maceo Parker. Forte has a pretty distinct sound that relies heavily on the stylized chords of Pete Jaymes.
Brian Pinner has been playing saxophone with Forte Jazz Band for over 10 years. A Smithfield, VA based group, Forte and Brian have been a mainstay at festivals and concerts all along the east coast.
"Just Being Me" is my first solo album project and I’ll be featuring some of the cuts here on MySpace. I played all instruments and will be going to the studio to re-record all my horn parts because I did them in my home studio and I think they can be better, but I wanted to share some of the preliminary workings. Thanks and hope you enjoy.
Hey Uncle B! How r thangs goin? I know ur nonstop giggin as usual! I wish I was doin the same but I'm at Seymour in Goldsboro NC for 6mths. This will definitely give me a chance to buy some more equipment though. Annnnnnnnnnnd I've been takin some piano lessons and a lil vocal training, because I'm gettin ready to record a few R&B tracks that I've written. I remember lettin you listen to some rap songs I had recorded a while ago, but it seems I write more R&B than rap. So hopefully I'll get to let you listen to some of my R&B tracks. All original sounds, and vocals. So it should be a piece of work. And who knows, maybe one day I can hop on a track with u as feature. Well I hope all is well with u and the fam. Take care. By the way I'm lovin the tracks on your page.

Hey man, I remember you too from Jacques' jam. That was so much fun. I'm really glad I came out that night. There are so many talented, high quality jazz players in this area. Digging on your tunes this morning. You have some strong songwriting chops. And you sound great. Best wishes,
Blessings to you man and thanks for the request. I remember those Norfolk State University days marching in the Spartan Legion. Those were the days. I pray that your today is better than your yesterday. Keep making it do what it do and know that your BEST days are yet ahead of you.
