Sounds Like
Saxophonist Brian Pinner sounds like a cross between Gato Barbieri and Maceo Parker. Forte has a pretty distinct sound that relies heavily on the stylized chords of Pete Jaymes.
I have been playing saxophone with Forte Jazz Band for 15 years and on my own for over 30. A Smithfield, VA based group, Forte and I have been a mainstay at festivals and concerts all along the east coast for quite a while now and we're finally starting to reap the benefits of our hard work and love of music.
"Just Being Me" is my first solo album project. It was just recently completed with a scheduled release date of June 11, 2009. Look for it soon online on CDBABY.COM. I have included a few of the cuts here on my page. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing and recording them.
Hey Brian, NOBODY CAN PLAY THE SAX LIKE YOU. You know I'm loving it! God must have blown on your fingertips at birth. Crazy bout your music. You guys are going to blow the roof off the coliseum, name up in lights on the marquee, I keep hearing your name for the Jazz Festival, I say hey I know him. http://www.myspace.com/dangelapub Luv ya madly, DEE SCOTT

Ok Forte featuring Brian Pinner... so like I'm driving down Mercury this wknd, look over @ the Marquee and see your name. Some time later, I turn on the radio and hear your name..... You have arrived my friend, lol! J/k, yall raise the roof @ the festival!
Hey Unk, I'm back in town. Looks like I'ma be around for awhile. In the midst of ALLLLL the things that r goin on rite now, jus keep your head up and continue to make that HOT music!!! I've been taking singing lessons so I think I might expanding my horizons as far as what I'm goin to start singin and recordin! But I hope everything's good. Talk to ya later!!!
Hey Uncle B! How r thangs goin? I know ur nonstop giggin as usual! I wish I was doin the same but I'm at Seymour in Goldsboro NC for 6mths. This will definitely give me a chance to buy some more equipment though. Annnnnnnnnnnd I've been takin some piano lessons and a lil vocal training, because I'm gettin ready to record a few R&B tracks that I've written. I remember lettin you listen to some rap songs I had recorded a while ago, but it seems I write more R&B than rap. So hopefully I'll get to let you listen to some of my R&B tracks. All original sounds, and vocals. So it should be a piece of work. And who knows, maybe one day I can hop on a track with u as feature. Well I hope all is well with u and the fam. Take care. By the way I'm lovin the tracks on your page.
