Rock/Reggae/Funk music with conscious lyrics, that makes you move, feel good, think and let go.
Captivating and uplifting, Brian Rosen & The WhatNow is a Rock/Reggae/Funk Band, with a humanitarian and earth loving message. These guys are quickly becoming one of the most refreshing bands to hit the Canadian live music scene. Based out of Nelson B.C, The WhatNow is a tight unit that holds down the funky groove, entrances the audience and floods the dance floor with sweat and groove. Performances are passionate and full of energy as they spread their positive message and deliver unstoppable rhythms.
The WhatNow has a powerhouse lineup with Brian Rosen on (vocals, acoustic guitar, percussion, harmonica), Rob Funk on (drums, vocals, keys), Jesse Lee on (bass), Ben Euerby ..boards, sax) and Ty West on (electric guitar).
The band recorded their debut album "Planting the Seed", released in 2008. With songs like, "Love to Grow", "Seeds of Consciousness", "Stay on the Road" and "Best Shot", the important musical message of Brian Rosen & The WhatNow comes through clearly on this revolutionary recording.
The Seeds are being planted and the Love is growing.
This fall the boys are back in the studio recording album 2, as well as touring Lower Western Canada this Fall/Winter 2009/2010. Keep your mind and your eyes open for Brian Rosen & The WhatNow!
