mustafio	2007/12/28 21:33 I should mention that I am fussy about public bathrooms and will always clean the seat and cover it with toilet paper or album covers designed for this purpose. I have a large collection of classic rolls of the Blues Magoos, T Rex and The Raspberries; all first pressings and out of print. And even though it is disrespectful to eat after dark I do treat myself to dimming the lights and walking around the house with an empty bag of Frito's corn chips. This is a signal to neighbors that Mustafio is home and an invitation to join me.

mustafio	2007/10/27 18:29 I played a small town judge in an Andy costume for $350 weekly when Carol Channing called me on the short side. She said, "Mustafio there's something you should know, but I can't tell you." I didn't go Charlie Cheerful but I agreed due to her insistence to try on the polka dot happy pants. Lyndon Johnson was teaching an introductory drum class after the Cold War and I was doing four shows a night and three on weekends. Carol elected to order banquet style and for dessert we had the soufflé and cordials. At the time Mustafio was a drill press operator and in desperate need of something sporty to wear.

mustafio	2007/8/9 22:54 Whether it be a one dollar or a fifty dollar dinner, picnic or ox roast, Mustafio has tasted a variety of food. Insomuch as I could never depend on its quality, I usually have steak and potato in my room before dinner.

But don't forget what I told you (until my next visit to the grocer) to bend my pretty neck enough to make a fish. I'll take you so they can be eligible, the fact that people are inclined to trust Mustafio, it will require occupational therapy.
mustafio	2007/7/25 06:32 A “humor folder” in my speech files has grown considerably. Dinner goers who watch Mustafio scribble away during meals often presume I am rewriting my speeches and sometimes this is true. Usually I am jotting down ideas for opening lines tailored to a particular audience, working in many cases from standard jokebooks which I carry with me. In addition to my humor files, I maintain a collection of dramatic speech endings, and these I know by heart.

mustafio	2007/6/4 11:42 Normally on such a day, I would have my back to the window, but the rain acts as a provocative landscape. I was bewildered by a shadow of a shadow until I remembered the recently installed adjacent bathrooms, built for maximum comfort and efficiency. My mother never let me forget that I strangled my twin brother in the womb. I'm having a vertical tasting tonight and the silver is barely polished. I am sure the rain will stop as promised. I was always such a lucky so & so! HAHAHA!

mustafio	2007/5/22 15:34 I played Ben Casey on "I'm almost finished, I'll put the stove back" but because of the silent arguments Mustafio could not work with these people and I'm sure the feeling was mutual. Fistfights broke out on the set, and eventually I was replaced by Ben Gazarra.
mustafio	2007/5/7 12:19 It's a fractured fallacy to engage in 'what have we here?'. 'Is' is what it is, only and evermore. Suck it in, rub out your eyes, and try to elicit some adaptability from your otherwise rigid soul. If the only hearty thing on the menu is lamb pudding, say "Good! That's a tasty treat!" Quell the gag response and move forward. Better and more accessible nutrition will be obtained through the ingestion of the liquified 'bah-bah' than by ingesting the napkin, though that may seem momentarily preferable. Wise choices always make wise men.
