Wow, I stop by and I am all over your page, to what do I deserve such an honor?

I miss you dude, so does Pele Pahoehoe! WWWHHHHOOOOOOOWH, she says!

Will you join my church? The Church of the Flying Ponies? You must accept the Divine Flying Pony as your Lord and Savior. If you do, he will swish magical powers of imagination on your head with his purple sparkling tail as he flies the heavenly skies!

Thanks, brother. Good times were had all around, and it was fun learning that the Chris Castle trio and the Brock Zeman trio are a six pack of kindred spirits.

We were glad to be a part of it. Peace.

Hey Brian - it was great meeting you!
Unfortunately, with my work schedule and the price of gas I've been laying kind of low these days. It looks like my next venture to Cleveland will be Sat. June 28th - my friend Bob Wayne is playing at The Fryer.
    Hope you can make it!

There is one thing that I'm really good at, and that's recognizing excellence and the rare gift, and combination of talents which has the potential to soar, given the opportunity. Chris Castle has all of those things and I will sing his praises 'til the sun and moon are no more.
HIs album, "Hollow Bones in Monotone" was my pick for best album of 2007, and the new stuff he's been coming out with recently just blows me away!
The fact that he is a great guy besides, is just icing on the cake, and makes getting to know him and his music a real pleasure.
I'm so glad you got to go hear Chris Castle and Dirt Sandwich open for Jeff Black!

Tom & Cary were WONDERFUL and packed the house with mostly new faces. It was SO good to get to see and hear them again! They really inspire me, and the audience loved them.
Something wonderful is that they started out the first set with NEW SONGS! (o:

Having most of the concerts at The Little Aussie Bakery & Cafe' has turned out to be a really good fit. It's warm and inviting, and the food and service is just great, and lends itself to a listening room atmosphere.

I can see that I'm going to have to work on arranging for a few more chairs for seating as this series is fast catching on. Next season's line up is crazy good and I need to be prepared.

Thanks for inspiring all of this, way back when with your suggestion, Brian.
You were right - I would indeed love doing house concerts!

By the way, did you know that the city dyes the San Antonio River green downtown along the Riverwalk for St. Patrick's Day? They serve green beer too. eww..
