balladeer and songwriter, who has a notable history of performing in select, quality venues and for certain groups. Now with thirty years of performing experience, his “songs of the heart” have delighted audiences with a blend of ballads that capture the mind and spirit of the listener. These “songs of the heart” are poignant, romantic ballads of interpersonal relationships and living - something that is universally experienced.
He has appeared both solo and as part of a vocal/acoustic duo, in some of the finer coffeehouses in the Detroit area - as well as doing a solo, coast-to-coast tour of tribute performances to the late John Denver during 1998. In 2000-2001, he was a key member of the “Harmony With Nature” group project that performed concerts on National Wildlife Refuges and associated lands in the eastern United States.
Taylor started performing in 1976, doing benefit shows for senior citizens, children, hospitals and other charitable causes. His work over the years has been dedicated to attempting to make a difference by promoting a positive and sustainable future for the Earth and its inhabitants. Among his major influences, musically and socially, were John Denver (1943-1997) and Harry Chapin (1942-1981).
