I go to as many Predators and Titans games as I can afford, and I love every second of them. I like going out and listening to music as well. Anything from my favorite bands to local bands I've never heard of. The Big Bang is my favorite hang downtown...always a good time!

I am a guitar player, but am currently stuck without a band. I've been playing for about 11 years now, and I'm pretty good, but nothing spectacular. I play everything from EMO/Punk to Classic Rock, anything that is loud and has crazy guitar riffs. I'm also getting in to country recently, as it's a whole new style of playing and is giving me something to practice. The one thing I don't do is play crappy acoustic love songs just to get girls. Guys who do that suck. I play a wine red Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar and a '72 reissue Telecaster Thinline, all through a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL half stack. It is huge and loud, and I love it.
My favorite bands include Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Silverstein, Just Surrender, Fall Out Boy, Disturbed, System of a Down, Story of the Year, Aiden, Funeral For A Friend, and The Used. I also like a lot of the Top 40 country out now, like Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Big & Rich, etc.

My favorite types of movies are stupid comedies, like Dumb and Dumber, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Super Troopers, Old School and Wedding Crashers. I was also a huge Marvel Comics fan growing up, so I love all the super hero movies, like X-Men, Spiderman, and Fantastic Four. I enjoy a good scary movie every now and then, but I have to have someone to cuddle with (preferably a girl who gets scarred easily). I really can't stand chick flicks, mostly because they give girls unrealistic expectations and ideas, and its hard to overcome that. I also enjoy a good war movie every now and then.

I really don't have time to watch a lot of TV. The only shows I try to watch religiously are The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother on Monday nights. I relate to the characters well because I'm at about the same point in life, and Neil Patrick Harris is absolutely hilarious. Other than that, I enjoy The Simpsons, MXC, Southpark, The Daily Show, Reno 911, and like watching sports (Mostly football and hockey). I can't stand all the reality crap on TV, and I think MTV should be destroyed for what it's become.

I don't like to read books. I kind of have a short attention span, and am a really slow reader. I'd rather just watch a movie. I do enjoy reading magazines about music like Billboard and Guitar World, but thats about it.

I know it may sound corny, but my only real hero is my Dad. There are many things I admire about him. He’s always been a great father, and a great husband to my Mom. He has had successful military and civilian careers. A few years back, he was called up from the Reserves and sent to Iraq. Without complaining, he said goodbye and went and did his duty. He has always been supportive of me and what I wanted to do. When I joined the Army, he was very proud, and he has helped me get through the tough times with great advice. He is successful in every aspect of life and truly a great American, and I hope I can be the same one day. I definitely don’t admire any celebrities or anything like that, and I really think your kind of shallow if someone like that is your hero.

About me:
My name is Brian Westerman and right now I'm just enjoying life. I just married the coolest girl on the planet, and we are still busy getting settled in our new house in Mt. Juliet.
I am a fun guy, and my sense of humor gets me through most things in life. I'm not conceited, but I am confident, so I don't feel the need to impress people. The most important things in my life are my friends and family, and I will do anything for them.
I currently work for a mobile marketing company called Mozes that does Text Message promotions for all kinds of different artists.
I am also a 1st Lieutenant in the Tennessee Army National Guard Corps of Engineers. Basically I'm qualified to build, move, or blow up just about anything the Army needs. It's was hard getting through all the training, but it's pretty cool to have all that experience.
Along with this, I am a huge patriot. I think this is the greatest country in the world, and if you don't like it, I think you should get the hell out. I believe that we wouldn't be where we are today without the wars of the past, and it's going to take war to preserve our way of life. Until these crazies in other countries stop killing each other, theres no other way to handle things. Many have gone before us and given their lives so that we could enjoy ours, and I have no problem doing the same if I'm called to.
