We are a bunch of guys and girls who meet up twice weekly to play bike polo at the top of Brick Lane. The main games take place on Sunday afternoon from 1pm till about 7pm. Wednesday evening we have a smaller gathering from about 7pm onwards to keep us in practice.
Just a little disclaimer - this page is run by just one person (guess who!) and obviously doesn't represent the views of everyone who plays polo.
Who I'd like to meet: Everyone is welcome! Come along and play or just hang about with a beer and beigel, mallets and balls provided (but more are always welcome!). You don't have to have ever played before. Fixed wheel bikes are best but anything goes.

hey are you going to have a soundsystem ? we the spokes need to play music. i can ask oxford if theyll bring their 12v or try to bring something from here but it might be tricky this end.
it was either the new york or the london polo tournament for me, both on the same weekend, both very far from vancouver... nyc won this time around, but i'll get over there don't you worry. let me know how it goes and i will do the same.
toronto is holding the world championships of bike polo in june of 2008 (go colonies!) and Chicago will be hosting the north american cycle courier championships on the first weekend of september 2008-- hope at least one team from across the pond can make it. hell, one player even.
Yeah I really want to make it to that. I think there might be space to play in a local skatepark, gotta see how happy people will be with that though. If I can establish a club I'll try and bring a team down for you guys to whip.
Hey, I'm trying to set up a bicycle polo thing in Bristol, but I'm originally from London, so next time I'm home I'll potter along to a game if the invite is there. Can't find a good pitch here though. Balls.
