BRICKS PROMO .... HISTORY.. The not-so-secret formula of the Winterthur band “bricks” seems to be made up of two hand-me-down synthesizers, a drum machine and a poultice of rock’n’roll. .. For a long time, the band’s EP “Turn Up Your Radio” was available only on the black market and traded at record prices in young offenders’ institutions in Great Britain. Today, this rare disc is being sold by the Zurich netlabel “alpinechic” under the label “disco rock meets sophisticated songwriting and distorted irony”. .. .. LIVE .. If this piece of good news wasn’t enough, the band will be performing live when their frontman gets back from Hampshire. This five-strong combo really rocks! When the bass drum kicks in on stage, many a female listener might wonder about whether the guys on the Chesterfield sofa behind her are in fact the members of Franz Ferdinand.
