Brick vs Face are a 4-piece hardcore/punk band who formed early in 2004, and have been playing around the North Island regularly since then.
They have developed a reputation for their energetic and sincere performance, which has lead to a loyal following in Hamilton, Auckland and Wellington.
They have toured and played alongside international and local acts such as Bad Religion, Sick Of It All, Comeback Kid, Madball, Most Precious Blood, Limp Wrist, Throwdown, Bleeders, Parkway Drive, Missing Teeth, Antagonist and Evil Priest.
The members are quite involved with the NZ Hardcore Punk community and have put on shows and helped out touring bands, as well as documenting the hardcore scene via zines and live show DVDs. They stick to the D.I.Y. ethos behind punk music and have put out both their albums on their own label Good Friends Good Times Records.
The music is raw and aggressive, with songs that speak out against herd mentality. Bottom line: Brick vs Face are four guys with something to say, who really enjoy letting loose & playing their songs.

"Confusion Is Next embody everything I look for in musicians; passionate, intelligent and talented; people who perform purely for the joy of performing; and this comes across in the music they produce, a return to the glory days of Alternative Rock [...] Great music should trigger a response from the listener and Confusion Is Next’s song writing possesses this quality" ~ Barry Rogers, LostChildren Netlabel / Loss Of A Child
"CIN have struck a balance between the raw, loud sound that dominated their first two releases and the melodic, dynamic sound that began to appear in "Lost in Dark Days" [...] In just a few years, CIN have matured into a confident band who seem to have a clear vision of exactly where they want to go." ~ Michael Gregoire, blocSonic.com
