About me:

I'm Kari. I'm half Norwegian but have lived in Scotland (most of the time) all my life.

One half of Cthulhu Youth. We bring the Lollercaust. We'll drink you under the table. We make grown men cry.

I have a psychology degree but wish I'd gone to art school! All I really want to do is write and draw and I hate the idea of not learning anymore and being trapped in a "career". Currently studying HNC/D Fine Art and would like to be involved in art therapy or adult education eventually.

I'm a dilettante by nature and hope to make a career out of it. I'm a newly initiated burlesque performer and pin-up model and a regular at most Glasgow burlesque events. My stage name is "Kari Von Regardless" and I've so far performed at Dr Sketchy's and Cheesecake (RIP)and some private events. Interested in booking more shows, plus I'll consider photographic work if you are in need of models - the more interesting the shoot the better! :)

I also write a zine, "Au Milieu Des Fauves". I want to start a zine event or collective some day. And a "real" band. And a gallery. I would like to be involved in community arts. I would also like to travel... escape The Sticks and live in Edinburgh, London, Brighton or the USA (Jack Daniels' country, NYC or Portland, Oregon the home of DIY)

My prime ambitions in life are to own a rabbit called Judas and to start my own Pet Sematary.

Who I'd like to meet:

People who create.
Burlesque beauties!
People with guts and passion with their heart and soul in the right place.
People that want to start a fire.
People that will grab a stick and help me scratch my way out of here.
People that will hiss and spit and leer with me.

The "beautiful and feral".

Nobody who could potentially validate my inherent mistrust of strangers. If this is you (and statistically, in these dark days it probably is) then in the words of newg, "you'd better have a really good excuse for taking up my precious time".

WRITE LIKE NOBODY'S READING

Come to this! Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

    Great! :)
It's Wednesday, the 27th January at the Admiral Bar which is just along from Pivo Pivo if you know where that is?
I'll give you more details as I find out. It's for North Glasgow College, they are beginning to put on monthly events in the Admiral and their Music Business lecturer who runs it, is trying to plan a few variety evenings.   So there will be bands playing, artists of any sorts, DJs....loadsa things!! :) Woo!

Day of The Dead act sounds funky! I'd be up for that :).
The theme of the evening is "Dead Famous" anyways, so it would go great! :)
Awww yeah? God sakes lady. Hope you are feeling better! You've no luck with illnesses, eh? :(
It's basically just my stomach that's been giving me A LOT of jip, and then I've been getting a lot of headaches too :(. Pah, just take me out and shoot me! lol.
I'll find out my shifts for this week coming, and if you like you can send me yours in a wee message, and we can arrange something? :) So we can meet up and have a gab!
Still don't know about my job yet unfortunately :(. But I've just resorted to applying elsewhere! See what happens. :)

Up to much at the weekend?
(And I apologise for this novel of a commment! lol)

If you're interested, send me a wee message :).
    Hope you're well!
