About me:
MISSION
To share knowledge about the issues LGBTQQIPPAA face, motivate others to take action as allies, and develop youth leadership; while building bridges between communities
HOW DOES BRIDGE 13 WORK?
Trained youth facilitators lead interactive workshops tailored to meet the needs of the audience. They can include personal stories, role-playing, language exercises, or other activities to address some or all of the following topics:
What is sexual orientation? What is gender identity? How are they different?
What is it like growing up bi, trans, lesbian, or gay?
How should I respond when I hear homophobic comments?
How can straight friends, families, social service providers, and educators be supportive allies?
What can we do to make schools safer?
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone interested in creating safer spaces for LGBTQ youth.
