After graduating high school, Character Marvel (Bryant), began working at Taco Bell where he met fellow rapper Eskimo One (Oscar). During their hourly conversations in between rolling up tacos and cleaning the bathrooms, both co-workers began discussing the different aspects of Hip Hop, and how they would do it differently but still keeping the original ways and methods that were used by old Hip Hop groups. With nothing more than an MPC 2000 XL, and their constant addiction of buying records, the two began taking their interest seriously. After countless hours digging for records, beat making, and recording at Character Marvel’s in-house studio/bathroom the group developed a unique sound. In respect to the city where they met, La Puente California, they decided to call themselves Bridge Dwellers.
