BridgeFire are an alternative blues rock band hailing from the East. Their powerful, emotive music coupled with thundering live performances has brought them success in national competitions, opened up regular weekend shows and support slots with up and coming acts, seeing them regularly playing to hundreds of people. But now they've set their sights on London and are preparing for the big push. "We've made quite a few fans in London already, just through our MySpace and word of mouth" "We've got lots of friends there and there's a whole load of people who just can't wait to see us playing again"
Formed in 2005 as a three piece, with brothers Barry and Danny Haynes and mutual friend Tom Lachlan completing the trio, BridgeFire buried their lives away in their lockup and set about writing their own original material. A few months later and the band hit the road, both headlining and supporting amongst signed acts throughout 2007. The boys decided to take a break from gigging, to write new material and focus their efforts elsewhere. Sonny Harvey jammed with the band soon after and was asked to join on the spot. The additional guitar along with the possibilities for soundscaping has offered BridgeFire the freedom to further explore their music.
