Frankie Banali joins BOS

Frankie Banali ( Quiet Riot, Glenn Hughes, & W.A.S.P ) will be featured on 4 songs for the forthcoming Bridge of Sighs CD "Angry Clouds" due to be released in November 08' on Roxbury Records. Banali and producer Neil Citron are currently putting the finishing touches on the songs "Crucified", "Sweet Thing" "Freedom's Stain" and "Thinner than Water". Frankie will also appear as guest drummer for select live dates in 2009. Frankie brings world class experience and chops to the Los Angeles based power trio.
Stay tuned to www. BOSband. com for more updates. Frankie will record and perform with BOS as the guest drummer for the departing Mike Taylor who has moved to Virginia to start a family. BOS wishes Mike well and has fond memories of his tenure in the band.

BRIDGE OF SIGHS is a Los Angeles-based band featuring Trent Stroh, Tom Neely, and Guest Drummer Frankie Banali. The Band began as a Robin Trower Revival Band in 2002. After several years of touring Bridge of Sighs evolved into one of Hollywood's most sought after original bands. Among 1 re-make of a Trower classic the band now focuses on its own writings inspired by the group's diverse musical backgrounds.

Although BOS spawned numerous tributes to Trower nationwide, all striving to re-create Trowers sound and style, THIS IS AND WAS NEVER A TRIBUTE. During it's tenure as a Trower only performance it was always a tastefully performed re-interpretation of the music that defined Trio Rock. Trower Tribute Bands nationwide now number in the dozens when prior to Bridge of Sighs' maiden gig in 2002 there were none. The goal of the band was never to copy, but to evolve the music. The band was fortunate to have Trower's very own Bill Lordan in the band during 03' & 04'.Bill Lordan's influence is still present in the Band's motto of evolution and not duplication. "Clone players need not apply"
The sound is vintage but the impact is fresh and new as many people discover this genre of music that has long been forgotten
in today's world of focus group FM Radio.

Hey, Shawn & Kevin from LA’s Rock Cover Band Forever Vinyl wants to invite you down to our Open-Mike Nights. We will be hosting Open-Mike This Wednesday and every other Wed in June-July @ Venice Bistro in Venice (5:30-10pm). Right on the boardwalk with tons of foot traffic!. We will also be hosting one EVERY Tuesdays at a cozy venue called Amsterdam Cafe in N. Hollywood (6:30-10pm) starting May 20. Starting Thurs June 5, and every-other Thursday is OM @ It's A Grind Coffee House in Santa Clarita (5:30-8:30) We will provide PA, acoustic guitars, acoustic bass, electric piano, and percussion. Just come on down, sign-in and you'll get to play (atleast) 3-4 songs (original or covers) or 6-10 minutes for comedians. This is a great opportunity to play your music, promote shows, sell cds, and network with many other musicians/comedians. No Cover for any of the 3 Open-Mikes.
