About me:

1. I am the mother of three daughters who I refer to as my “Marbles”. 2. I have been married since August 20th, 1999 which was the weekend of the Wooodward Dream Cruise and we got married in Royal Oak. Imagine that traffic nightmare! 3. In 2006, my husband’s job brought us to Southwest Florida where I bitch and complain on a daily basis about living here. 4. I’d much rather be in Chicago. 5. I met my husband at a bar. 6. I told him he looked like someone I played soccer with on a co-ed team that I was on….he knew it was a pick-up line so he asked for my phone number. He called me that night to make sure I got home safely. 7. The first date I had with my husband he went to introduce me to someone and forgot my name! 8. For 3 years I have been trying to lose 100 pounds and I am 23lbs away from my goal. 9. If Diet Coke could be fed intravenously to me, I’d hook myself up to an IV and run it through my veins 24/7. 10. My friends are my family. They know who they are and I never forget to let them know how much they mean to me. 11. Living in Florida has taught me to appreciate snow, slush and scraping ice off windshields at 7am when you have to take the kids to school. 12. Anyone who knows me from the time I was about 12 onward associates me with The Cure. 13. For several years after I graduated from high school, I traveled all over seeing Cure shows. I never took that experience for granted and those memories I have are some of my most cherished memories. 14. I am a Virgo. 15. Xanax helps me relax. 16. I have a crush on someone. 17. My Grandpa was the single most important male in my life and he died this past July and there are still days when I have things to say to him and I am overcome with emotion that he is not here anymore. 18. I work for law enforcement and I love my job. 19. That’s right… I love my job!!! I am a 911 dispatcher and I look forward to my 12 hour shifts when it’s time to go to work. Wouldn’t you like to have a job you love? 20. I’d rather spend my time online than watching TV. 21. I must have access to the internet at all times. 22. I do not like bugs, humidity, sand, salt water, dirt under my fingernails or sweating. 23. I came thisclosetograduatingfromcollege but then I got pregnant and life took a different route for me. 24. I have lived in eight different residences in the last 15 years. 25. My Marbles are very close in age and I worry that one day I am going to end up pregnant again. 26. When I was younger people called me “punk” or “goth”… now they call me “Punky Bridgester”. Are they making fun of me? 27. I was raised Catholic but I don’t follow any sort of religious beliefs and neither do my children. 28. I voted for Obama. 29. I have an older sister and a younger brother. I have two nephews and one niece. 30. I have known my best friend, Autumn, longer than I haven’t known her. 31. If you are having a conversation with me, it's guaranteed to be laced with sarcasm.
