About brief_blue_electric_bloom

A new collaboration between HooHHaH Productions (www.hoohhah.com) and Irish Composer, Writer Ailis Ni Riain (www.ailis.info) Commissioned by Greenroom, Manchester & Arts Council England. Brief-Blue-Electric-Bloom premiered in Manchester on 30th November 2007 for two sold-out performances. The performance incorporates sign-language, contemporary classical music for cimbalom and banjo/guitar, poetry, video layering and four physical performers. Directed by Tracy Gentles, composed and written by Ailis Ni Riain. We are presently in discussion with a number of venues and we aim to tour the work in 2009.
