Why does God lead us through desert places? That He might humble us, that He might test us, and that the true condition of our hearts might be revealed. Not that God might come to know you (He already does), but that you might come to know you. There’s nothing like the desert to help you discover the real you. When you strip away all of the trappings, peel off all the masks, and shed all the phony costumes, you begin to see a true identity—a face that hasn’t emerged for years. Maybe never. ~Charles Swindoll
Put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. ~Ephesians 4:24
Have a wonderful week full of victories from above. Vd
"Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain." "2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God."
The world can no longer see Jesus Christ in person, It can only see Jesus Christ in us through our behavior & actions. We are the only Bible some we meet will get to read. We can preach the gospel for all we are worth, yet if we do not exhibit Christ likeness in our lives our words are wasted. When we do our best to walk our lives as our lord and savior Jesus Christ did, then we will see fruit produced in our lives and come to obtain the peace of God that passes understanding.
When will we ever learn that there are no hopeless situations, only people who have grown hopeless about them? What appears as an unsolvable problem to us is actually a rather exhilarating challenge. People who inspire others are those who see invisible bridges at the end of dead-end streets. ~by Charles Swindoll
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, You knew my path.-Psalm 142:3
O My King, that we may contemplate with our eyes the power of Your Holy Spirit in order to envision the spiritual domain that we may not be overcome by the frustrations and obstacles we suffer on the natural. Our days and time are in Your caring hands. May we receive the peace and the hope that originates in You. Amen.
Hi Brie, Stopped in to say hello. I have chosen you to be one of my Top friends this week so that everytime I see your image I pray for you. Be Blessed, Elizabeth
Hey Brie, Jonathan told me he talked to you the other day and got your email address...but...he can't remember it..You would think I could walk my fanny to your house and get it. =)
you are prolly really busy right now...but if you get a chance, just wanted to let you know that you are ahmasing. you have helped me grasp the true meaning of what it is to have the joy of the Lord in my life. i watched you at revolve and i've seen you around too. i am truly taken aback by the things you do for others and i love how much you love to serve the Lord. Yaweh has a huge calling on your life, Brie. and i'm glad that i got to experience a part of it with you. ~gillian
"Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." "Jeremiah 15:20 And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD. 21 And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible." "Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."
God's promise to Isaiah & Jeremiah carries over to us today. When you dedicate your heart to serve God in whatever way you are capable of and in turn strive for the heart of a servant that Jesus Christ had toward us, then you will see in your life evidence of the heritage of a servant of the LORD. You will see God's deliverance & protection, and His providence to you is your witness to the world that our God has made you in all things more than a conqueror because you serve Him. ""Isaiah 42:13 The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies."
