The Welsh born Brigadier is Singer, Songwriter and Producer Matt Williams who has been receiving much acclaim for his intimate live shows and timeless pop.

Influenced by all sorts of popular music past and present, he writes melodic Indie-pop with intricate chord changes and catchy choruses and has received kudos from among others - Alan McGee, Mark Eitzel and the Wondermints.

Increasing exposure has led him to enjoy healthy sales of his self-financed and self-released 2007 debut album 'View from the Bath' which has had rave reviews. This was followed by the seasonal EP '6 Christmas tales...'. A new album 'The Rise and Fall of Responsibility' was released in the Spring of 2008 also to rave reviews. In Autumn 2008he has released another seasonal EP; 'Rhymes for Rainy Days'. In August 2009 he released his third album 'Time is a Wound'! To read reviews click HERE!

The Brigadier has had radio coverage (Including BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Southern Counties) in the UK, USA and Europe, as well as magazine coverage. He recently did a live session and interview for the BBC and is also available for soundtrack work.
