Putting together traditional vocals, guitar, mandolin, and bodhran since 2005, Jake and Karen eventually gave their efforts a name: Brigands' Folie. We share songs of the 18th Century and spread the history of colonial America during the Seven Years (French & Indian) War through the War of 1812. Typically heard at Living History Encampments and Rendezvous' around the Midwest, our latest project is our debut album: Fog & Fire, released on March 15th, 2008! The CD features 15 songs of the period with Irish, Scottish, English, and Continental roots; including our original title track and four other original songs. For samples of these tracks and to purchase the album, jump over to our website!

Hey folks, just wanted to pop in and let you know that our debut CD is available at brigandsfolie. com or you can see us across the Midwest at the following living history shows!
There it is. The raw, uncut, first pass at Full Circle. Bear in mind that this recording was made at the first session where we had a chance to sing it together. There are some hiccups and stumbles, but it's our newest work, laid bare for the world to hear. Blame Darin if you don't like it :)
