This exciting new and upcoming young band is from Eunice, Louisiana. The accordionist, Briggs, has been playing for seven years now. He is the great great nephew of the late Sidney Brown, one of the first Cajun accordion builders in his time. Greg plays the bass and has recently started building accordions, one of which Briggs plays. Megan has recently joined the band, adding female vocals. Travis plays the fiddle in the band and his dad, Ray, plays the drums and also sings. Homer plays guitar and also adds vocals. They can be seen playing at D.I.'s Cajun Restaurant from time to time. In 2003 Travis received the CFMA New Dawn Award for upcoming young musicians and in 2006 Briggs received that same award. Hey Briggs, nice music man! It was fun jamming with you at Jesse's crawfish boil. I'm going to have to make my way out to Basile sometime soon to hear you guys at D.I.'s.
I want to tell people about your dad's accordion for sale, but people who don't have myspace can't view your pictures unless they have a myspace account.
Maybe you should put it up on your front page. I'll spread the word then
