This Is The End Of BFD 27/04/08 thank you all very much for your support over the last 4 years, but due to recent events we've mutually decided to call it a day for bright friday drive. each of us are moving onto different things and entering into a new part of our lives, which is very exciting. so do keep an eye out for us in new bands. rich is going in for some more surgery tommorrow and we're hopeful that he will fully recover. thanks again. Bright Friday Drive ALL GIGS CANCELLED!!!!!!! 03/04/08 hello bfd is currently out of action!! rich put a saw through his left hand when he was at work yesturday and has left it seriously injurred, and so all gigs are effectively cancelled until he's better. it is hit or miss at the moment but hopefully, he'll be playing guitar in couple of months, but he still doesn't think he'll be any good at it. i guess all we can really do is pray. but still, at the moment he's enjoying nurses, a restful time off work and lots of tlc from his girlfriend. thank you very much for your concern we'll keep you posted as things progress. best regards Bright Friday Drive --- Bright Friday Drive are a three piece band, originally from Cornwall, they now live and work in Southampton.

They formed in November 2005 and have gone on to gig extensively, gaining a strong fan base and attracting attention from several independent record labels. Also well known artists have given the band positive feedback and encouragement to pursue their dream commenting on the quality and promise of their music.

They have recorded demos of their songs over three studio sessions and have booked another recording session for Summer 2007 to record new material.

In November 2006 they won a regional Battle of the Bands which was covered by BBC Radio Cornwall. They have also received favourable regional media attention. The West Briton music review and gig write up stated that Bright Friday Drive ‘produce a surprisingly huge sound’.. are able to ‘plough real emotional depths’.. range from ‘gentle yearning to anthemic rock’ and declared.. ’that they sound so fully formed, so early is scarily exciting’…
