Suki creates a full, spellbinding music. Using both acoustic and electric cello along with amplification and effects he constructs layers of textures, rhythms and melodies in the midst of a live audience. Suki performs original works as well as arrangements that cover Blues, Jazz, Rock, Classical and Oriental styles. On the other hand...the majority of his recorded works are ensemble pieces for rock , jazz, classical groups- all recorded using the wonder of MIDI and digitally sampled instruments.
Suki can be found performing with local artists and has played hundreds of shows throughout southeast Louisiana. He has even ventured as far away as Ohio and Georgia. In recent years he has opened- as part of an acoustic rock trio- for Heart at the House of Blues and Tim Reynolds at Southport Hall. He recorded with celtic rock wonder Beth Patterson and reggae-based Ben Hunter.
