About Brighton Metal Scene

Fustrated by the lack of information on the Brighton Metal Scene, this fanzine was created to bring information about the best metal bands in Brighton. The website aims to be the one stop place for all metal fans in brighton, bringing you details of the best metal gigs, interviews and news from brighton metal bands as well as creating a community amongst fans, promoters and of course bands.

As this fanzine aims to bring you only the best in the metal scene, all the bands advertised on this site will be reviewed and picked out to make sure that only top quality music appears or is linked from this site. This site aims to find the bands that are pushing the limits in noise, creating original sounds, showing incredible musical skills and writing the best in Brighton Metal.

Listed in the gig sections are all the gigs that the Brighton Metal Scene thinks you should check out. These may be the best of the young contenders or the old favourites in brighton but they will all be Brighton Bands or the occasional touring band that B.M.S thinks you should really check out. This is the only place you'll find gigs advertised on this site so don't try to plague this page with comments about your gigs. They won't appear on here! If you want your gig on the gig list then send B.M.S a message.

To be an official Brighton Metal Scene band and appear in our top friends, have your news released through this site, and have your music played on this site as well as release dates featured on this site please e-mail admin@brightonmetalscene.com. Do not send a message as this will be ignored. This site aims to only give you the most professional bands so do this properly.

Walk With Me In Hell	Oct 12 2009 6:14 PM Heyyy man, just checked out your blog on the lack of metalheads turning up at gigs, I think the metal scene in Brighton is appauling, there's some real talent from bands like Stone Circle, Echovirus, Blind Eye Fury yet they haven't got the fanbase they deserve down here. I don't understand why people aren't supporting the local scene, I go to as many local shows as I possibly can (having trouble getting in to the free ones right now as they are 18+ and lost my passport at Sonisphere but I still attend the majority of the ones I can make it to and afford) and when I do go to the gigs, it's always me and my few mates who can actually be bothered (which is another thing that pisses me off, a number of my friends who can't be asked to support the local scene yet go see the bands who have already made it) that normally come along that are the only ones making noise, headbanging or trying to get a pit going while every other fucker stands at the back like a vegetable sipping their beer....slowly...it's pretty fustrating...I just wish more metalheads would get their act together and get their asses down to local shows and support Brighton Metal properly. I just hope it picks up because it's been shit for a few years and surely Brighton has more to offer than fucking Architects, who I can't stand and appear to be the only band who have made any progress...just thought i'd let you know that I feel your pain.
