About me:

Qualified saxophone teacher in Brighton, East Sussex. offers beginner to advanced level saxophone lessons and tuition. I am presently teaching a wide range of styles including jazz, blues, classical and pop.

For those wishing to take an examination programme I am presently teaching these courses: ABRSM Saxophone, a popular programme chosen by those who wish to learn to perform a wide range of notated music; Trinity Guildhall Jazz Saxophone, a jazz and improvisation focused course which teaches both notated and improvised jazz music from beginner to advanced levels. For those wanting a less formal approach to tuition I also offer a flexible learning approach based on the individual's own targets. Help is provided with a variety of techniques including advice on understanding notated music, correct posture and breathing, articulation, sight reading, recommended equipment, jazz/blues improvisation and performance with other musicians.

Currently I am conveniently located in the centre of Brighton & Hove, boasting a range of facilities including studio recording, backing tracks and keyboard accompaniment. I also travel to students within the Brighton & Hove area including Lewes, Worthing, Falmer, Shoreham by Sea, Burgess Hill, Portslade, Seaford and nearby regions of East Sussex.

All ages are welcome, from children to mature adults. All common saxophones (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone sax) will be catered for. Beginners are welcome to come and try out a saxophone. Discount offered for students.
