I write fiction which I publish with my own publishing company at www.winternightproductions.com.

Writing is the form most naturally taken by the worlds inside me--it is the voice of the stories I so love to share.
A true writer writes, first, to be read. He does not write for money. He does not write for fame or love or hatred or even the satisfaction of a job well done. He writes so others might read or hear or see what he has worked so hard to build. He writes to share the story.
I was making stories before I could talk. I write because I am driven to share my stories with the world--so that others can see what I have seen. The love of wordcraft has come as almost an afterthought.
Moreover, I love science fiction and fantasy. I grew up reading Tom Swift and Star Wars. When I was twelve, I read Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. I was enthralled by the world of Narnia. I was captured by the greats of science fiction--by Asimov, Heinlein and Herbert. My favorite book was Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game.
Magic is the undiscovered country of the story world--it is the high technology of a galaxy far far away. It is the novelty and the mystery that makes a story interesting, that pulls the reader onward and brings the sun over the horizon.
Quite simply, I write for the love of the story.
Who I'd like to meet: I want to meet people who have... call it character.
People for whom "I don't know" isn't good enough... who want to understand the world and...not just how it works, but WHY it works.
I want to meet people for whom the truth is more important than their own opinions.
I want to meet people who refuse to be blinded by the trap of their own beliefs...but whose beliefs are a part of their search for the truth.
I want to meet people who don't care what others think, but instead do what they believe is right.
I want to meet people who know they will fail but get up and try again because that is the right thing to do.
I want to meet people for whom love is a way of life and not a sex commercial.
Hey! I had a good time last night at the dance. Be sure to let Cordell and I know when they have others. Tell tour family all hello! Have a good weekend.
i know you dont check this anymore, but i dont care i just want you to know i miss you and mary terribly! you guys are so much more amazing then i could have ever thought possible!!! jared thank you for caring so much for me love morgan ps congrats i heard you got a job im excited for you!!! love ya
That's good to hear. I'm pretty good as well. I think everything gets really busy right after spring break since it is getting toward the end of the semester. After this semester I will only have one year left (YAY!). We just have to do like Dorie on Finding Nemo says "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming." LOL. Anyway it was nice talking to you cuz. :)
Oh yeah the only bad thing is that I can't really stand my roommate. I won't go into any great detail or anything though because you more than likely don't want to hear a bunch of negativity.
Sup Cuz? How is school this semester? Good I hope. Things are pretty good her in Laramie except it is too cold most of the time. I got the meet another one of my cousins that goes to UW for the first time tonight too.
Wow, when did you make the trek to Virginia? Congratulations to you! I bet it's lovely to be out & adventuring in the world. Did you pick that college for any particular reason?
I'm still writing my life away at Sierra Trading Post; I also went to this semester's Wingspan class's first work night on Friday, which was a nice blast from the past. They're not as awesome as our group was, but I think they'll still rock.
That's cool. My friend Jennifer lives in the dorms here and I guess her original roommate never showed up so they gave her someone from one of the other dorms. I didn't really like UW dorms when we had to stay in them for our junior summer program with the Daniels Fund because they are kind of small (sort of reminded me of prison cells). Oh yeah and the fact that you can't get much done hygienewise with a whole floor of people sharing the same bathroom.
That's cool. Do you go to a private or public university? I don't know if I could live that far away. I mean it sounds enticing sometimes but then I remember how at times I am not that big of a people person.
That's good. I am glad to hear that you are doing well. I am going to UW (boring I know huh? j/k). It's alright although living on my own is an interesting experience (I have a pretty cool roommate and I know quite a few people from high school so I should get along okay). Are you still studying the same thing you were at LCCC? I am still a business administration major of course.
