Born in Italy a while back to Turkish/British parents, raised in Monaco, moved to London 10 years ago and been sharing the joys of music and life with some beautiful people. The fact that I am French is a pure myth.
My new album Flying Dreams has now been released on F-IRE and distributed by Proper. You can get it from my website www.brigitteberaha.com (paypal) or from itunes, www.amazon.co.uk, www.jazzcds.co.uk, and CD baby. The album is all original material and features the amazing Joe Auckland on trumpet & fluegelhorn and the ridiculous Ivo Neame on piano, the incredible Phil Donkin on double bass and the superhuman George Hart on drums.
We promoted the album in the trio format during a 20 date tour of the UK at the end of 2008 with the addition of the incomparable Paul Clarvis on one gig.. The whole thing was an unforgettable experience, second mammoth tour in two years and even better than the first one, with support from Jazz Services and The Arts Council.
Currently coming up with new ideas for some new material...we'll see where it takes us!
