Words ...
Someone once said to me that he wanted to speak Slovene so he could understand the stories in my songs. I also happen to think that it is nice to speak Slovene. It is the most beautiful language in the world; it is mine and I can sink in it while singing, forget the words, just feel the atmosphere and connect with the sound of instruments, and then the magic happens. I believe that my emotions connected to a particular song might disappear from my voice if I sang in any other language.
Sometimes it is an advantage not to speak the language of a particular song. Because we listen to it more carefully, while each of us can find something different in it.
Brina, Poljanska Balada
Ja obozhavam vashata muzika. Prv pat se zainteresirav pred nastapot na ShpancirFest. Jas bev so bendot na Toshe Proeski i za zhal imavme nastap u isto vreme, pa ne mozhev da ve slushnam u zhivo. Ali zaedno sedevme na vechera posle koncertot u Varazhdin, masa do masa ako se sekjavate :)
Draga Brina, hvala vam na add i prijateljstvo. Ja sam bio na vas koncert u okviru festivala Ohridsko Leto u Makedoniji. Bio sam fasciniran vasim predivnim nastupom, toliko emocija i radosti i predivne iskrene muzika na koncertu, bili ste sjani. Pekjuce u Ljubljani nasao sam i kupio tri vasa albuma. Nastavite samo. Lep Pozdrav Brina in skupina. Zelo lepo ste nam peli in igrali tukaj v Torontu zadni teden. Vase dva CD so zelo dobra in sem vesela da sem spoznala vase petje.
Hvala za sprejem med prijatelje. Ce bi bilo v slovenski muziki vec taksnega tekstopisja, kakor ga je slisati denimo v Poljanski baladi, nam ne bi bilo treba na sekret vsakic, ko prizgemo radio. Zelo lepo in kar tako naprej.
