This is most definitely not an official Barkmarket page. I am a mere fan in awe of the truly great music that Barkmarket created during it's short existence. Barkmarket existed in New York from about 1987 until about 1996, and consisted of D. Sardy (guitar/vocals), John Nowlin (bass), and Rock Savage (drums). Dave Sardy has also been a producer for some of music's coolest bands (Helmet, Far, System of a Down, Slayer). They broke up in 1996 after their masterpiece, L. Ron, and have been sorely missed. Hopefully, somebody who knows them will see this page, notify them that they are being imitated, and that will motivate them to get back together. I will die a happy person if I can accomplish this one, single goal: Bring back Barkmarket!

I'm all for people trying to get there music out there to be heard, but, honestly....can we not have other peoples music playing when you load onto this page. This page should be dedicated to BARKMARKET only...I shouldn't be subjected to anybody elses music when we log onto this site. There are millions of other pages that would gladly post an artists song. I don't feel this page should promote anything but our missing brethren....D.Sardy, R. Savage, & J. Nowlin....may they one day reunite!!
