| General | Barron liked hanging out with the lovely ladies at the local yoga studio. Once he even sat on a stool and looked like he was checking people in for classes. From my end, right now, looking for my baby has consumed my life. But I have always been a healer and my primary work has been in end of life care and with children. Also, therapy dogs and reiki. | | Music | Barron likes hearing me sing opera (I was classically trained since age 6) but I also love the Beatles and others.

About me:

My name is Erica and I am a social worker/bioethicist. I am Canadian but live in Washington, DC. I work with children and adults afflicted by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. But the real reason for my page is to ask for your help.
I live with my boyfriend of 5.5 years, Kurt, and our two cats, Cinnamon and Cruella. We also have a very important member of our household, who is missing: BARRON.
Barron is our 7 pound Affenpinscher. He has been the light of our lives and so therapeutic that I was excited to use him in my work. 3 weeks ago, while visiting friends in Philadelphia, we left Barron in the care of our friends to go out for lunch with a former professor. Barron ran away that day in the GRADUATE HOSPITAL AREA. I spent a week in Philly, rising around 4 am and traveling the neighborhood, looking for him. We launched a campaign to bring him home that involves posters, flyers, shelters, and media. As of yet sightings are rare and they may be pranks. We brought in scent hounds to search for him, but they confirmed that he is no longer in the area. The SPCA is now involved in the search, as is Carol Erickson from CBS-3 News.
I am attaching several pictures because this is Barron's page. If you see him or can help, please email me. Barron is very shy of strangers and will run if chased. We are hoping and praying that he comes home to us. Until then, I will keep up the search for Barron. I want to thank the AMAZING people of Philadelphia who have kept their hearts and eyes open, crafting posters, cruising streets, and sending gifts. You are what keeps me going.

Who I'd like to meet:
Have him curl by my side again, walk by my heels, rub his head and get it all staticky, so much so that he would look all spiky and we would laugh at him. He'd give us that look, like What? What's so funny?. Have him cuddled up in his crate, his favorite place, or sleeping next to me on my pillow or in a trough of blankets. See him dancing for a bit of cottage cheese,
