About me:

I am a TECHNO dj, acid techno mainly but I'd like to think I mix it up a bit..have a listen/download my mixes over on www.acidsteve.com , go on..once upon a time in 2001 it all started when I began playing on the Sonic rig at the Unsound parties..inspired by the underground scene I started DJing on other systems, Manik, Malfaiteurs, Hype and the Every1Sound rig where I can often be found..and lost hehe..in 2009 I became resident at London's longest running techno night Nuclear Free Zone - flagship party of the legendary Stay Up Forever crew!! LaFinka asociación social y cultural Barcelona	Dec 2 2009 1:00 AM Hi Steve, thanks for the add LaFinKa ONG is mainlly an association that helps homeless people (specially families) in Barcelona. We organize events almost every week here in Barcelona, and once a month we organize a big multicultural events where we usually bring some international Dj's from diffrent places and mix them with local collectives. That can be in Barcelona, London, Rome or Lisbon. Our aim is to create stonger networks and build platformes for the artists to showcase their work across the world. We try to work with as many artists and musicians as possible and integrate new peple to the scene whenever possible. Our events are also a mix of diffrent arts and music styles in one place, and we use these events manelly to raise founds for diffrent social and cultural projects. We usually have Psy, Trance, Teckno, D&B and other alternative music and live acts in our events. We aim to create spaces for people to come and be able to see and ear diffent styles of music and arts spread around diffrent spaces therefore having more people being introduced to other sounds and arts that they may not be familiar with. LaFinKa is always looking to work with new artists as well as new volunteers to help with our projects. (direct links) junodownload beatsdigital amazon trackitdown JawDriver is the 5th release on the party driven label Generator UK featuring 3PhazeGenerator and Aaron The Pimp. JawDriver moves with an aggressive distorted kick, followed with some swollen funk to develop the bass groove. This is joined by a shranz style kick back to develop a chunky rolling drive to the track. Lots of twisted fills and cuts accompanied by blend of filtered percussion lines all add power. Soon joined with some jackin style vocal cuts and a distoted filter with plenty of hardtek stabs. Two wicked drops add a twisted focus featuring a French gravelly voice uttering ‘Cocaine Bastard ‘! A good driving track to get the floor moving and locked on the groove. Aaaron The Pimp presents Don’t Stop that moves somewhere between Torsten Kanzler and Marco Remus with an upbeat jackin style percussion, deep solid kick and crispy hats. Some great mutoid cuts and a solid groove give this track a new mixed hardtek / jackin style edge that is much loved by many producers on the scene.
