♦☼ Hi Everyone! My name's Bernie - aka Brio'con, aka Darrick. Born & bred UK, Based in UK. Brio'con has been a huge part of my musical past. I wish to thank everyone here who has shared there love, comments, friendship and enjoyed my past music as Brio'con. I now enjoy playing a big active part in the band 'Belinda & Co'. This is where I get my name 'Darrick' from. However what still remains is I am Bernie your musical friend. I'd like to make new friends with multiple interests (art, news, music anything & everything)...If you get a friend request from me, that's my way to tell you that I like your profile and that I am genuinely looking forward to communicating with you sometime:) ...... ♦☼ 24th, Sep, 2012 ♦☼❁--☀ Sun Flower In The Snow ❁--☀ is a song that opens up some of the most relevant things to me in my Life, which is my Life, Memories and Love. I could give you comprehensive details about how and why the song came about but you cannot write about love because love writes it's self. I feel this song was a gift to me from life and I do believe other people who have the gift of life will meet there very own Sun Flower In The Snow. I feel we fight, study and work so hard to better ourselves in life while all the time we know we only have one chance. One chance to get it right, and one chance to make it all happen. Many times it just don't make no *bleep, bleep* sense. Time slips away and with that so do our dreams and aspirations. Feels like a race LIKE SOME CRAZY CIRCUS. Yet from a cold painful place so distant from our Happiness, Hopes and sunny blue skies something special happens, can happen...... We succeed and this can be on foreign shores. With the right company, the writing is so clear on the walls. In this beautiful Summer the ice thaws like tears falling and starts to melt with the heat that only love can give, and that's when I noticed the beautiful women who was a complete stranger to me SUDDENLY was a "Sun Flower In The Snow". She is Deep, Irreplaceable! Like a naked mystery which teaches me that the only thing that matters is her happiness and Success. I implore you to watch the flower open and absorb the colors of her petals that will leave a fragrance that will leave a scent on your heart forever. ♦☼ 26th, July, 2012 ♦☼ The Love Flame ♥ has been making it's way around my heart and life and it arrives on route exclusively here on Myspace with two new songs to stream, hear, experience and feel. "I would Fall Apart" and "Less Than Nothing" are both songs which have elements of solid deep intense true love and the torture of hell should the wheels spin off and leave us in a place filled with our worst fears. I myself worship every single fibre of love and absolutely appreciate it's power and know for certain without love in my life it would be an eternal prison. I would not wish this prison on anyone and I am sure everyone has there own personal experiences of a life with love and a life without love. I would encourage with all my heart and wisdom I have gained in my life to treasure your partner because connecting and investing in love for the long haul, you re likely to come out way ahead.

Misunderstood Dove (Dedicated To Michael Jackson).

♦☼ 25th, June, 2012 ♦☼ Misunderstood Dove (Dedicated To Michael Jackson) Is my song in respect to Michael Jackson on his third anniversary.

On June 25, 2009 the world lost an irreplaceable peace dove full of love and creation. Within these three years I have been dealing with grief, the pain of not having the person who is gone. Trying to come to terms that our beautiful dove of peace was called in by the angels of light. My song Misunderstood Dove is a small reflection of me giving back my internal love and appreciation of what he gave to myself and all around the globe. I began writing the lyrics to Misunderstood Dove July 26, 2009 and I strongly had my heart set on the Pure White Acoustic Guitar captured in the photo above dedicated to Michael. I saved hard and in good time I was able to purchase The White Dove Guitar to perform and record Misunderstood Dove three years on In time for Michael Jackson's third anniversary. Misunderstood Dove is the only song written, preformed and created with The White Dove Guitar and after completion I took the guitar apart - gave the machine heads and spare parts away to a local guitar shop - I then compressed the whole wooden guitar into woodchip, sawdust and scattered all into the earth as a mark of respect to Michael Jackson's amazing message and song 'The Earth song' ♥✞✌ All your music lives on eternal ♦☼

Estoy Triste (I'm Sad).

A brief summary from me is when writing and playing this song a very deep emotional sadness became very apparent and developed the more the chords, notes and music evolved. Images, feelings, emotions flooded into my mind and senses. I knew the song was expressing a major Spanish connection and theme and this I had to stay true to and pursue the emotions my heart and feelings were being guided to complete. In my mind I pictured Bull Fighting and the history of this despicable sport and could feel the grief of all the bulls that have been killed, a sea of red blood/love blood, the pain and suffering these beautiful beings have undergone all throughout history - I imagined the spirits/souls of all Bulls looking on saying (Thank you) for showing them respect in Estoy Triste. This spurred me on immensely to be able to complete Estoy Triste in respect and homage to them!

I also imagined the countless wars and everything attached with this, once again I was confronted with the sadness and in all this horror the song seems to echo silently but loudly peace, a time for rest a time for healing. Then the song began to talk to me on other levels because the sadness represented tears flowing from women's eyes, I could feel the tenderness of tears falling from women, grieve, something powerful and the very idea attracted me within the music to complete Estoy Triste . Maybe the gesture of saying goodbye but the tears for whatever reasons was a very powerful metaphor and reason why this song came about.

Of course the song is universal and definitely does not exclude men from the emotional content of this song because it is very rarely I do not make music not to cater for everyone in mind - It's just at the time of making the song Images of women shedding tears falling down there faces was very prominent. I could also feel and picture babies safe and cozy in there wombs, protected and the beauty in all this creation and very real reality. So with this in mind the song is not completely sad there is a very strong current of hope and tenderness running throughout the song - for example I could see flowers growing and blooming - opening up to display all there beauty, colors and magic. When lovers hold hands in the rain and weather all seasons of love, I realised the fragile beauty within Estoy Triste the kind of rare beauty only lovers would understand through the journey of love and life.

To be totally honest there were and are so many images and emotions attached to Estoy Triste when writing and making this song, so to be completely fair I sincerely feel it is up to the listeners hearts to translate this song and allow the song to communicate in it's own personal way to each individual. I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the journey in making this song and I hope to put it to film in the foreseeable future. I hope with all my heart that the song embraces you and adds a gentle breeze of hope in your sails and I also hope that my little summary has given you an insight to how the song came about, in which I am so very glad to present to you.
