About me:
BristolIndie started life back in January 2000 as a Yahoo Group 'discussion list', principally for publicising gigs and indie/alternative club nights in and around Bristol. Despite having well over 100 members, including a number of local bands and promoters, the list became quiet over time, probably due to a multitude of better alternatives elsewhere online...and so, BristolIndie has moved to MySpace. I'll be using this page mainly as a calendar for 'recommended' gigs and club nights. Disclaimer: Please note that listings are taken from other websites/flyers etc., so line-ups may be subject to change and timings may be estimated - please check with respective venues!
