Hi there.
My name is Brittany McDonald.
Yes, that is my real name. No, sadly I can not get you free big mac...not even a single french fry for that matter. :)
I wrote, recorded, produced, and mixed everything you hear on my page along with my friend Jeremy, who lives down the street.
Between you and me, at times I think he wishes he didn't live so close, at least then he could protect his sanity from my ridiculous ideas.
I love being happy, it's contagious.
Contrary to popular belief, I believe it's worth more when used.
Insert for "it": your heart, hands, vintage clothes, you.
I'm addicted to truth.
I have a habit of saying what I think, regardless of what others want to hear.
Disclaimer: At times this gets me into a bit of trouble.
I believe in people concentrate. Don't let them water you down.
I love music. Before I was a creator of it, I was a fan, and if you are a fan of what I do...I can not explain to you how much that means to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. <3
ANOTHER WANNA BE ft. ON THE SONY WALKMAN!
Straight up and no chaser, this is me, down to the very last drop.
I believe that the spirit of the individual still has value. Media seems to strip us of our individual identity these days, by tuning us out of ourselves and into someone else...whether it be reality shows, celebrity gossip, etc. We all want to leave a mark, send a message, but can't seem to break through.
I carry a heavy frequency, it's in my veins. I'm an optimistic realist, analyze to a fault, and have the "gift" of sarcasm and quirky humor, to a point that even I freak myself out.
I refuse to believe there is no such thing as justice, even though I have been told numerous times that there isn't. I pray that my generation and every generation thereafter will be able to live the American Dream, and that everyday people will never stop valuing their importance.
I create music because it is my first love, and I write in hopes that my songs might make you laugh, feel, and think...and move you in a way, to move.
first off, absolutely LOVE your music, already a big fan! Secondly, I'm actually trying to launch a career in music myself, so any helpful tips you have would be very much appreciated :)
