Bio:

Brittany Pierre is a dynamic worship leader who’s mission is clear:: Heaven WILL invade Earth. Through worship and praise she brings a message of hope and empowers her fellow worshippers to take back the dominion we have been given on Earth and release God’s glory. Brittany was born in Houston, Texas, adopted, and relocated to Chicago, IL where her passion for music was discovered. “I remember her singing in the car with me along with a Marvin Gaye song when she was 4. “ her mother recalls. “She was singing a note that wasn’t what the singer was singing, but it went perfectly with it. A little later I was told that she had a natural ear for harmonizing at such a young age.” Singing in choirs, leading worship teams, playing in her school bands, and teaching herself guitar has shaped her to become a worshipper to watch.

Brittany is gearing up to release her first EP in the fall of 2010. This will be her first studio project containing songs written and composed by her. Also on the EP will be guest worshippers Nina Grace and a few more special guests. The project is said to be “something to watch for in 2010” with some big names in the Christian music industry looking forward to the release. After the release of her EP entitled “Encounter”, Brittany will be touring the nation bringing powerful praise and worship to change the nation.

Brittany has with her a few great musicians that share her passion for world changing encounters with God through authentic worship. Travis Rigney, her drummer, has toured the nation with different bands and brings a skill unlike any other. Ben Stuckey on lead and rhythm guitar brings a level of professionalism and depth that helps relate her unique sound to the project. Andrew Koontz, bassist extraordinare, adds an air of class and sophistication that compares to some of the best bassists in the business. Brittany is headed on a career path that will span across the nations, bringing life changing encounters, a sense of self worth, and hope for generations to come. Her biggest inspirations are Hillsong, Hillsong United, Coldplay, U2 which accounts for her unique vocals and compositions.

“I’m crying out, for an encounter with You” is the cry of her heart. At the release of her debut EP, Brittany will embark on a world wide tour including Africa, parts of Europe and Australia, and of course, her home turf, North America.

God gives me the words and melodies... Im just the lucky one to write them down and sing them.
My influence in writing is definitely styled after the life and Psalms of David. I aspire everyday to trust in the Lord and love the Lord as intensly as he did.
Its actually really hard for me to put down my influences in music because I listen to anything and everything.
Its really just about what moves me at that moment.
