Brittany Cotto is from Chicago, IL and began her music education at two years old. During high school, Brittany was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and was awarded first place in the Union League Civic and Arts Foundation Competition. She continued her education at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she acquired her Bachelors of Arts. Brittany attended the Aspen Music Festival and Henry Mancini Institute in 2004, 2005, and was concertmaster in 2006.
Brittany has appeared with such artists as LeAnn Rhimes, Tony Bennett, John Williams, Patrick Williams, Alan Silvestri, James Newton Howard, Burt Bacharach, Bobby McFerrin, Quincy Jones, Christopher McBride, John Clayton, and Barrage. She has performed with the Santa Monica Symphony and the American Youth Symphony. Brittany has also been featured on Grammy-award nominated recordings and FOX television.
Brittany has had the opportunity to perform in France, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, as well as the Symphony Center in Chicago and the Kodak Theatre, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Royce Hall in Los Angeles.
She is currently running the String Project with the American Youth Symphony and LA's BEST.
