Now in its 47th year, Britt Festivals is the Pacific Northwest's premiere outdoor summer performing arts festival. Located in the historic 1850s gold rush town of Jacksonville, Oregon (USA), Britt presents dozens of summer concerts, featuring world-class artists in classical music, dance, jazz, blues, folk, bluegrass, world, pop and country music. Britt's performance venue is a naturally formed amphitheater set among majestic ponderosa pines and native madrones on the beautiful hillside estate of 19th century photographer Peter Britt. Viewing a map of the facility will give you clearer picture of how we have combined stadium seating within this natural setting. Tens of thousands of music lovers travel from all over the West to enjoy Britt's world-class performances, spectacular scenery and casual, relaxing atmosphere.
Britt is a convenient day's drive from Seattle or San Francisco, and is located just five miles west of Southern Oregon's largest metropolitan area, Medford, and only 15 miles north of Ashland and the world-famous Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Oregon's only National Park, Crater Lake, is a scenic two-hour drive from Britt.

at 47 years old I have never been to a concert in my life! How did I miss out all of these years?? Crazy huh? I was at the Britt seeing my first concert ever just last weekend. I saw Buddy Guy and George Thorogood, known as "Mr. Bad to the bone"...
I loved both performances but especially liked Buddy Guy as he is a Blues Legend, they just don't make them like that anymore! His new song that he released "Skin Deep" got me all choked up and brought tears to my eyes. He is right, every word in that song we should all listen and live by.
The Britt was easy to find, seating was a breeze and the crowd just calm and casual. I love the sound in your pavillion, it was perfect, not too loud, just right for listening. You guys also have very friendly employees and volunteers...hard to come by these days and much appreciated! Thank you!
