About me:

So the basics on fire dancing: Fire dancing as an art form is actually relatively new. While fire eating and breathing are incredibly old and date back for hundreds of years, fire dancing is less than a century old. There are many different ways to fire dance including poi (my specialty) which are fireballs that are swung around on chains, staff which have wicks on either end and are twirled, fire hula hoops, as well as many others. Fire arts can be a great addition to any act or show you may be putting on or simply as an addition to ensure that your party will be talked about for years. As a performer I train rigorously and provide an environment of safety and professionalism to ensure a positive experience for everyone. I have full performers insurance coverage with Specialty Insurance Agency and strictly adhere to the North American Fire Arts Association standards for safety.

    I have been involved with the fire arts for some time now. This past summer I spun at a multitude of music and arts festivals including Transformus, Desiderata, and the PEX Summer Festival to name a few. I taught a class/workshop at the most recent Wildfire which is a retreat for fire spinners to come together and have a skills exchange. I've also spun several parties the past few months including Philly Decompression, Halloween Ball, and several others. I train daily and take fire arts seriously while constantly reminding myself how important it is to have fun with it. My primary areas of focus are poi, fire eating, and lately I have been training with fire nunchucks although I have yet to perfect an act with them (stay tuned). I teach private lessons with toys as well as fire eating and am fully insured to perform professionally. My acts are priced on a sliding scale based on length, content, and several other factors. If you are interested in my services or even just have a question about fire arts, don't hesitate to get in touch! I enjoy hearing from people, even with just an inquiry.
