Welcome to our second album 'Girls And Strong Whisky'. It follows much in the style of the first, in that we bring to you Celtic traditional melodies interpreted with a rhythmic, rock feel and a scattering of world ideas.
Our ingredients for Brogue’s sound were born of influences from artists whom we have come to love and admire through the years. In addition, we are excited to introduce our arrangements of a few timeless Corries tunes without whose endless source of inspiration, our creative endeavours could not be complete.
We hope you’ll enjoy indulging in this Celtic journey … with a wee dram of course!
hello! just listened to your tracks, 1st class! you guys are bloody good' I've always been a huge fan of stuff like the corries and gaberlunzie but its great to hear someone put a modern slant on those songs like that and still keep the scottish feel to them so strong, fantastic. all the very best from The fighting 69th. The more i hear, the more addicted i become to your music.I work night shift at a hotel, your music is playing all night. Last night, we had the Irish Rovers staying at the hotel, and as they came down to check out, your music was playing.They hung around the lobby to listen to a few tunes. They enjoyed it very much.
